Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe is an American country music songwriter and singer. In 2007, she had released two singles, as well as an album titled Satisfied. She then formed a Pistol Annies group with Angaleena Lambert, Miranda Lambert and Angaleena. They later released her second studio album entitled Like a Rose. Ashley Monroe is the Assistant Village Manager for the Village of Riverside Illinois and has over 15 years experience in public service, including nearly five years as an Deputy City Manager within Iowa City. The position she is in now an Assistant Village manager. She has a variety of responsibilities which include managing the Community Development and Building Department in charge of grants and special initiatives. The role of Ashley at Riverside is to assist in the day-to-day operations of the village's services and carry out the strategic vision set forth by the elected officials. Ashley's prior roles have included government planning communications budgeting the management of staff and collective negotiations. Ashley is also passionate about climate change. Ashley has the ability to draw on her experience working with a range of community and national institutions. She has also acquired an understanding of the manner in which public organisations function.
